Platform Swing
A hanging swing version of the Seamat Perch! Hung up using natural sisal cord, threaded through coloured java wood slices and untreated smooth pine wood (safe to chew on), with seagrass matting attached to the top. You can use the matting as a fun way for your bird to forage by adding pellets, seeds and treats inside of the small woven spaces. These swing perches would make a great addition to your birds cage or play area!
If you need or would like extra seagrass mat replacements for your perch, you can select a replacement kit from the dropdown (this includes the seagrass matting, sisal rope, as well as java wood pieces).
Base 20cm W x 10cm D, Height 20cm
Timber sometimes varies slightly in size/thickness, or may have slight imperfections.
Comes with a coloured non-toxic plastic hanging link with plastic tube connecter.
Best suited to the extra small to small-sized birds; budgies, lovebirds, cockatiels, conures, quakers, neophemas etc.
🐀 Also suitable for rat, mice, hamster and sugar glider enclosures! 🐹
To clean - Untie sisal rope from beneath and remove the seagrass matting, then using a wash cloth soaked in warm diluted white vinegar water or lightly soapy water, wipe away any poops or mess from the timber base, as well as the seagrass mat. Air-dry out in the warm sun until completely dry, then re-attach the mat looping the rope through the holes, and tie off underneath.
Please note - as per my policies, I endeavour to use the safest materials possible, however as no toy is ever 100% safe, please supervise playtime when possible and remove any toys or parts if you notice excessive chewing, fraying or swallowing. You know your bird and small pet best. It is the buyers responsibility to offer toys that are best suited to their pets size and chewing needs.
